About myself and this blog:
My name is Neve Quinn, but my friends call me NJ. I am a book lover, both reading and writing. My favorite genre to read is non-fiction (Don't worry, I just paused for the collective eye roll) and fantasy. Though I haven't been writing nearly as long as I've been reading, it has become one of my most cherished hobbies over the years. Whether it's a notebook or my computer, writing has been a safe place for me to develop my creativity and express myself over the years.
I am currently studying Criminal Justice at Bellevue College, in Washinton. After I get my degree, I plan on getting a career in victim advocacy.
While I now live in the PNW, I was born and raised in a small town in New Hampshire. My upbringing in small town New England often inspires my stories, especially the shorter ones. I started this page to share my work and push myself to write more often (also so I can stop having to share my google docs every time my friends or family wants to read something I wrote). I hope to one day publish two or more of my books, and this blog is hopefully the start of that process!
